As a composer, singer, songwriter and guitarist with many musical ensembles spread over two decades, including Hookahman, GRRR and Jose Ouiseau, Joe was a bright light on the local music scene. Joe was also a founding member of the local comedy troupe Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie. He continued to stay active in comedy - writing songs for CBC's 'The Irrelevant Show' and performing around Canada. Joe will be fondly remembered by many young performers for his warmth and generosity. He had a special gift for sharing his love of music and comedy. Joe helped educate a generation of young Edmonton comedians with his role in directing shows at The Citadel. Joe's warmth and ability to befriend anyone is legendary in the Edmonton arts scene.
